5 – Odds and Ends

The last couple of weeks has been filled with lots of small jobs waiting for the plumber and electrician. And we both had the flu so didn’t feel like doing much. But jobs had to be done as everything needs to be ready for the plasterer who is coming on the 30th of Jan.

Tracing pipes. Had to lift so many floorboards

Radiator off to reveal the old wallpaper

Kitchen door.

Not a door anymore

Round the back ready for a sheet of plasterboard

Plasterboard and switch box in place

Dot and dab adhesive to stick plasterboard over where the wall was removed. It’s the stickiest substance known to man

Added frame ready for studwall. Can’t finish until the electricians have done their thing.

But the plasterboard has gone

So we can now get into the garage

At the same time:

The sparky has been busy preparing for the new consumer unit

And the plumber has been plumbing so the flat now has independent heating.
